I have always considered myself a self-taught person who has always had this passion for art in all its forms! I remember perfectly being asked when I was a little girl what I would like to be when I was big and my answer being “make-up artist or painter”, as long as it was related to art!
Later, I started out as a photographic model and learned to “paint myself” according those needs. I worked with many photographers on the most varied subjects, which gave me a good basis for my profession today.
I finished the Sociology course at ISCTE-IUL and worked in several areas until I finally found my true vocation.
And it was in 2017 that I did my first prosthetics workshop with the EffectArt team, an experience that I find enriching and essential to decide to change my life and invest in makeup full time.
It is at that time that I begin to take my first steps as a face painter and makeup artist and to expose some works that opened the doors to this world for me.
In 2018 I graduated in Makeup (Beauty, Cinema, TV, Brides, Social, etc.), Characterization, Bodypaint and Special Effects at Make: up Artist School (Lisbon), having the possibility to learn from several trainers and since then I work in the most varied areas from Photography (Lookbooks, Corporate, Lifestyle, among others), Video, Weddings, Events, Theater, Advertising, etc.
Out of curiosity and the need to complement the knowledge acquired, I always want to learn more and more, so in early 2020 I attended a hairstyling workshop and later a bodypainting one with one of the best artists in the world.
It is part of my journey not only to try to be better in my work, but also to be a better person and lead a fair way of life, without cruelty to animals and nature, so I try my best to use materials and support brands that are vegan and cruelty-free.
Right now, I work as a freelance makeup artist in Portugal and I am available to travel abroad as well.
I am a proactive, dynamic, organized, team worker person and I’m always looking for the next challenge!
